Full Time Medical Coder/ Billing Specialist for Orthopedic, Neurosurgery and Pain Management Practice:

Looking for a skilled, motivated, reliable and experienced Medical Coder/Billing Specialist to join our team. This is a fast paced, growing practice and candidate must be a team player, self-starter, multi-tasked and highly motivated. Knowledge of CPT/ICD10 codes. Candidate must be proficient billing office visits, surgeries, orthopedic procedures, braces as well as strong collection background. Prior use of E-Clinical Works preferred.

Salary: Negotiable

Responsibilities and Duties – Certifired Coder- CPC License

1. Workout bucket claims in timely manner
2. Work on AR, denials and appeals
3. Understanding of benefits and authorizations
4. Charge Entry
5. Communicating with insurance companies, physicians, patients, staff and software personnel.

Qualifications and Skills

1. Medical Billing & Coding Certification mandatory. CPC License.
2. Experience in Orthopedics and Neurosurgery as plus.

Requirements: Certifired Coder- CPC License

1. Knowledge of medical terminology
2. Experience in Medical Billing and Coding Compliance
3. Commitment to HIPAA privacy laws and regulations
4. Background in using EMR software and applications-Eclinicals
5. Ability to navigate CPT, ICD-10, HCPC books
6. Strong verbal, written, and oral communications skills; able to be tactful and positive
7. Competence in Microsoft Works (Excel, Word, Outlook)
